Damon Fibraio: Damon's Music

I Believe in Father Christmas 2007 version

(Damon Fibraio)
Originally done by Emerson Lake and Palmer
I have always loved this christmas song, it is one of my personal favorites. I did a version of it in 1996 in my dorm room that I have on this site as well, but I wanted to rearrange it a bit and make it better using the improved technology 11 years later. So, I rearranged it a bit to make it piano driven as opposed to a 12 string guitar sound that may or may not be authentic, using my Yamaha Motif XS7 to get the piano and choir sound together, then I added a synth pad from the Korg Radias at the end of the sogn, the synth vass in the second verse onward from the Virus TI, the sleigh bells from the motif and the guitar from the motif run through my vox tonelab. I added more choir from the same keyboard and the swirling arpeggiator sound in the last verse also comes from the Motif as well. The vocals are all me, as well. I like this version and give it to you as an early christmas gift. I hope Keith Emerson doesn't hate me too much.
